The conference addresses latest technology developments within image and video understanding

SmaCS has submitted a scientific paper to the 16th International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications – VISAPP 2021

The regular paper is entitled ''Building Synthetic Simulated Environments for Configuring and Training Multi-Camera Systems for Surveillance Applications'' and has been accepted as a full paper to be published in the conference proceedings. One of the authors will present it at the conference (online streaming, 8-10 of February 2021) in the format of 25 min oral presentation (including discussion).

VISAPP aims at becoming a major point of contact between researchers, engineers and practitioners on the area of computer vision application systems. The conference holds five simultaneous tracks, covering all different aspects related to computer vision: image formation and pre-processing, image and video analysis and understanding, motion, tracking and stereo vision, and applications and services. The conference program will include both oral and poster presentations, as well as special sessions dedicated to case-studies and commercial presentations and technical tutorials, focused on technical/scientific topics.
