SmaCS submitted a scientific paper to the 16th International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications – VISAPP 2021, to be held on 8-10th February 2021.

The paper is entitled “Building Synthetic Simulated Environments for Configuring and Training Multi-Camera Systems for Surveillance Applications” has been chosen by the Conference Chairs in the short list of best student paper submitted. Last year, the International Program Committee of VISIGRAPP – International Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications, selected 46 papers from VISAPP for oral presentation and for publication as full papers, with an overall acceptance ratio of about 17%, which underlines the high scientific quality of the participants and the excellent evaluation by the committee.

The definite award will be announced on 10th February 2021 and if actually selected, it will be presented in the closing session.
